I’ve heard a few really nice remixes of this song, but Aviators win out this round. This is gorgeous.
I continue to believe that if Tara Strong pulled a Japanese Voice Actress and released an album of songs, the bronies would back her and anyone who heard it and didn’t do the same would be stupid. Love her voice.
Really digging how Sim is treating the finale songs. He did a really chill take on Celestia’s Ballad that’s pretty slick, too.
I think this is the first 8 bit remix I’ve heard where I was actually straight up impressed by the quality and work involved. Kudos to RainbowCrash88. Now find a name that doesn’t need a number!

So that only took me, what, a year? Armies are kinda time consuming, turns out, but I also kept changing bits and fine-tuning bits and I wanted my first impression to be really good, okay?
I promise page two won’t take this long. Also, pages 3 and 4 are the old pages 1 and 2 with some writing tweaks so hey those are basically ready cool beans! then a couple pages after that there’s a song and dance and that’ll take roughly until I die probably but hey you can’t blame a guy for putting his best foot forward on his crummy MLP fan fiction thing.
Gonna go crawl back under my rock now! ECCC is this weekend and I still need to prep. Whoops! Wish me luck.

Kind of a weird song and it took a bit to grow on me, but I’m finding it to be a lot of fun, rather bouncy, etc. etc. the usual.

If you’ve caught this before in a stream or something, I decided to up and shade it, which I think was a good decision. The Reaper side seemed outright incomplete to me without the gate acting as a light source, even though originally the Reapers were supposed to be a sort of ethereal, glowing enemy. Once I finished doing that on the right, it only seemed proper to give a similar treatment on the left with regards to the lightning strikes, Discord, and the army facing the gate instead of away like the other side.
I think I did okay, and it makes the scene look a lot cooler imo too. c:
I’ve started panel 4 and after that is just the big middle section that will take a million years and then LH page 1 will finally be done holy crap.
Assertive Fluttershy - Boo Hoo
I’ve not been super impressed in the past by AF but I’m finding myself pretty hooked on this one. There’s also a Silvia Hound remix, but the dubstep portion of it just grates on me there, whereas the original keeps it just melodic and in place enough to not have it yank me out of the whole thing.
